Terms of Service. Clear rules for a shared layer.

01Agreement

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form an agreement between you and MeetInsights (“MeetInsights”, “we”, “us”). They cover our website, web app, meeting assistant and API (the “Service”). By creating an account, scheduling a meeting, calling the API or otherwise using the Service, you accept these Terms.

If you use MeetInsights on behalf of a company or other organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind it, and “you” refers to that organisation. If your organisation has a signed order form or agreement with us, that document takes precedence wherever it conflicts with these Terms.

02Eligibility and accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract.
• Keep your login details and API keys confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account and keys.
• Tell us promptly at nk@meetinsights.in if you suspect unauthorised access. We can then revoke and reissue credentials.
• Account administrators decide who in the organisation can see which conversations and insights.

03The Service

MeetInsights lets you:

• send an assistant to Google Meet, Zoom and Microsoft Teams meetings to record them;
• upload recordings for processing;
• receive transcripts and structured insights, such as interview scorecards, sales objections, decisions and action items;
• configure rubrics, ratings and training modules for your team;
• access all of this programmatically through the MeetInsights API.

We keep improving the Service and may add, change or retire features. If we remove a material paid feature, we will give reasonable notice. Features marked beta or early access are provided as-is and may change or be withdrawn.

04Recording and consent

You must also follow any rules that apply to your use case, such as employment and anti-discrimination law for interviews, or sector regulations for financial and insurance sales. MeetInsights provides the tools; you remain responsible for how you use them and the outcomes.

05Your content

You own your content. “Customer content” means the recordings, transcripts, documents and other material you or your participants provide, and the insights the Service generates from them. As between you and us, all of it belongs to you.

You grant MeetInsights a limited licence to host, copy, process, transmit and display customer content only as needed to provide, secure and support the Service for you. This includes sending it to the sub-processors listed in our Privacy Policy.

We may use aggregated, de-identified data about how the Service is used (for example processing volumes and feature usage) to operate and improve it. This data does not identify you or any participant. We do not use customer content to train general-purpose AI models.

You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to provide your content to us, and that processing it as described will not violate anyone’s rights or the law.

06AI-generated insights

Transcripts, summaries, scores and recommendations are produced automatically with speech recognition and AI models. They can contain errors, omissions or misattributed speakers, and they reflect patterns in the conversation, not verified facts.

• Review important outputs before relying on them.
• Do not use MeetInsights output as the sole basis for decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on a person, such as hiring, firing, promotion, credit or insurance eligibility. A qualified human should make those decisions.
• Scorecards measure what you configure. You are responsible for making sure your rubrics are fair, relevant to the role and lawful.

07Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• record people secretly, or in any way that breaks recording, privacy or telecommunications law;
• use the Service for surveillance, profiling or discrimination based on protected characteristics;
• upload unlawful, infringing or malicious content, or content you have no right to share;
• probe, scan or test the Service’s security, or interfere with its operation, except with our written permission;
• reverse-engineer the Service, scrape it, or use it to build a competing product;
• resell, sublicense or white-label the Service or API without a written agreement with us;
• share accounts or API keys outside your organisation, or exceed rate limits we communicate.

We may suspend access when we reasonably believe these rules are being broken. Where it is practical we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem.

08API terms

API keys are issued per organisation and must be kept server-side. Never expose them in browsers or mobile apps. We may apply rate limits and usage quotas, and we will document them in our developer docs or your plan. We aim to keep the v1 API backward compatible and will give reasonable notice before breaking changes.

09Third-party platforms

MeetInsights works alongside Google Meet, Zoom, Microsoft Teams and other services. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by those providers. Their own terms apply to your use of them. If they change their APIs, policies or availability, some MeetInsights features may be affected.

10Fees and payment

• Paid plans are priced as shown at checkout or in your order form, and billed in advance for each billing period.
• Prices are in Indian Rupees unless stated otherwise. GST and other applicable taxes are added as required.
• Online payments are processed by Razorpay. By paying, you authorise the applicable charges.
• If a payment fails or is overdue, we may suspend paid features after giving you notice.
• We will give at least 30 days’ notice of any price change. The change applies from your next billing period.

Cancellations and refunds are covered by our Payment & Refund Policy.

11Our intellectual property

The Service, including its software, models, prompts, rubrics we provide, design, documentation and the MeetInsights name and logo, belongs to MeetInsights and its licensors. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service while you have an account in good standing. If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without obligation to you.

12Confidentiality

Each party will protect the other’s non-public information with at least reasonable care and use it only for the purposes of this agreement. Customer content is always treated as your confidential information.

13Term, suspension and termination

These Terms apply for as long as you use the Service. You can stop using it and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms and do not fix the breach after notice, if required by law, or if your use puts the Service or other users at risk.

After your account closes, you have 30 days to request an export of your customer content. After that, it is deleted as described in our Privacy Policy. Sections that by their nature should continue, such as ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability and governing law, survive termination.

14Disclaimers

We work hard to keep MeetInsights reliable and accurate. To the extent the law allows, however, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. This includes warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted availability, and the accuracy of transcripts or AI-generated insights.

15Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data. MeetInsights’ total liability for all claims under these Terms is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply to liability that cannot be limited by law.

16Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify MeetInsights against third-party claims arising from your customer content, or from your use of the Service in breach of these Terms or the law. This includes recording conversations without the notice or consent the law requires.

17Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes we will notify account owners by email or in the app at least 14 days before they take effect. If you continue to use the Service after that date, you accept the updated Terms.

18Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. We will first try to resolve any dispute through good-faith discussion. Disputes not resolved within 30 days will be referred to arbitration by a sole arbitrator under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The seat of arbitration will be Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, and proceedings will be in English. Subject to this, the courts at Varanasi have exclusive jurisdiction.
